Starting On Solids

Hardly have time to update my blog for the past 2 weeks coz we just got a new family car after the last one. Mummy & daddy have been busy bringing me around shopping and visiting. Afterall, they felt so handicap with one for the past 1 month.

Anyways, i started on solids some 2 weeks ago. Mummy anticipated that it's gonna be quite messy and decided to buy some coverall bibs for me. She was so excited and made me parade around the house with the new bibs.

This bib says it all..."I'm The BOSS"

"Feed Me Please"

"Peas Can I Have Somemore"

This is the ultimate. She made me wear a princess-like bib! Gosh, mummy bought it for cousin Renise but decided to let me try on it.

Mummy couldn't wait for weekend to prepare puree food for me. So, she bought the bottled organic just for try. This was taken about 2 weeks ago. Mummy & daddy decided no bottled or ready made baby food for me, unless really necessary coz they reckon most of the nutrients will be lost during the handling and packaging process.

See, the coverall bib is sure useful.

The Art Of Loving & Sharing

Sharon 姨姨 went to the Fisher Price warehouse sale and helped to choose a new toy for me. It's interesting and fun with the balls rolling and lights shining.

It enriches my motor skills, or so it indicates on the box.

Playing it alone.

And sharing it with cousin Dyan.

Guess Dyan must be overwhelmed that i agreed to share the toy with him. He hugged and kissed me several times.

Okie...no problem. Thank me no more. Shall we concentrate on the toy instead?

Oh, mummy help!

Dyan: My mummy taught me to love and share, why is Eagan running away???

T3 Tour - Part 2

With so many babies and toddlers in the family, nowadays outings over the weekends are either going places that are less crowded or gathering over at our place. Besides Suntec and Vivo City, airport seems to be the next best place that can accomodate all of us. We went T3 on Labour Day for coffee, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The 3 little piglets at T3.

Mummy enjoying her cuppa while daddy took care of me. Poor daddy...

Daddy tried to piggy back Rayden kor kor and carry me at the same time. But the weight was coming down on me, look at my expression. HELP!

From Daddy, With Love...

News reported that dengue fever is on the rise. So, daddy has been busy chasing away mozzies with incense coil. Daddy wants to be 100% certain that he fumigates the entire house and was fustrated when he couldn't reach some corners. So, he came out with this invention:

We call this "The Mozzie Buster".

Made from my cotton ball container, a pc fan, some wires and a on/off switch dismantled from some where. And it works perfectly well! Just that it is not safety marked.

Also, daddy DIY this cot buzzer switch for me. Coz i flip around my cot alot, daddy worries that they might forget to pull back the cot gate and it spells danger. Hence, he came out with the idea to assemble this alert switch. The bulb lights up should one forget to close the gate. This is most suitable at night when my caregiver changes diaper for me and might accidently forget to close the gate, the light will appear. Hmm...perhaps daddy can patent this creation.

Daddy made the above just for me. That's why mummy said they're "From daddy, with love".

Ooppsss...I Did It Again!

Tell you something...

I did it again. But, this time round, we kept our distance. Me and cousin Renise. Look how fast she is catching up. She is 40 days younger than me and drinking 180ml every 4 hourly. I'm only drinking 150ml every 3 hourly. Renise ah, Renise...better watch your diet! Hee hee.....

Oh ya, something to add. Cousin Renise is really an ANGEL. Since birth, she has been easy. She can play and sleep on her own. Sometimes, we forgot about her existence coz she's always so "guai".

New Toys and Books

Mummy felt 心痛 that i fell ill and bought me some toys, baby legs, swim suit, neck float and more. Here's some of them:

My new LeapPad and books. No pictures of the baby legs coz they're now in the laundry bag.

Learning my ABC.

Bonding time with Rayden kor kor.

Besides the toys, mummy also borrowed some books from the library. She got some books on weaning. Hmm...but she mentioned that i've to be fully recovered before i can start any of those food. Now i'm drooling...
