Daddy On Reservist

Daddy has gone for his reservist since last Tuesday. It's a "high key" training and he'll only complete his reservist on 03/06/08. I can only hear daddy's voice when he calls home every night. I miss daddy so much...

We got bored facing one another at home and mummy suggested going shopping since the GSS is now on! Mummy, 奶奶, bibik fitri & i went shopping at Bugis junction. Luckily with the Babyrock sling, mummy managed to carry me around shopping for more than 7 hours.

Me & 奶奶 strolling in the park near our neighbourhood before heading to the shopping mall.

Resting our foot in Mos Burger. I kept smiling at 2 ladies while they were queuing up waiting for their food. They were so happy:-)

Nov Mummies Gathering

Mummy & daddy brought me to the November mummies gathering with many other babies at Globetrotters on Vesak day. This was the first time i got to meet so many November babies. Come to think of it, mummy have known the Nov mummies for more than a year now. They have been sharing stories and experiences from the very day they confirmed their pregnancy. How nice to have a big group of friends to turn to. Let's hope the babies can hold their friendship together forever.

A group photo of the Nov Mummies and their babies. Actually there were more babies, just that some were either out feeding or napping.

Here's sweet little Ashlyn. Look at the pretty pair of eyes.

This is Jovan. A very well-behaved boy.

P.s: I didn't have the opportunity to take pictures more pictures coz i must have been overly-excited to see so many babies of my age. I refused to drink and take my afternoon nap. Got cranky and daddy had to hug me to sleep. Sigh...else, would have been a good opportunity to source for my future partner. Hee hee...Let's pray for more such gatherings.

My 6th Month Check Up

Went for my last 5-in-1 jab 2 weeks ago. Like the last 2 rounds, i didn't cry at all when Doc Hiew gave me the jab. And thank GOD, no fever this time round. And here's how i scored:

Weight: 8.6kg
Length: 67.0cm
Head Circumference: 43.0cm

Here's some major milestones i've achieved over the past months:
• Turns toward sounds and voices
Imitates sounds
Rolls over in both directions
Taking solid foods well
• Sits without support (For about 30 seconds)
• Mouths objects
• Passes objects from hand to hand
• Lunges forward (I usually will lunges forward when people give me the "carry you?" gesture.
Trying to crawl
Jabbers or combines syllables
Drags objects toward himself

"Everything well in progress" commented Dr Hiew.

Update on my 6.5 month body.

Mummy said to quarantine me at home and monitor to see if i develop any fever after the jab. Feel like a convict.

If everything goes well, i should get to dip in the pool very soon.
Yeah, Bravo!

Birthday Parties!

Wow, have been attending so many "piglets" birthday over the last few weeks. First was cousin Rainie's in March, then it's Javier, Joe & cousin Dyan's in May. Hmm...counting down to mine. Wondering if mummy and daddy are planning a big birthday bash for me? Maybe yes, maybe no. They said gotta see how i behave for the next few months before they decide. Chey...

Javier's Birthday PartyLovely Mickey Mouse Cake.

And cupcakes. If only i can have a bite on it.

Javier and family. Oh ya, auntie Joanne and uncle Jeremy are mummy's secondary schoolmates. How nice to stay in touch after almost two decades.

Joe's Birthday Party
Yummy Care Bear Cake.

Joe & family. Hee hee..both Auntie Libing & uncle Zhiming are mummy's secondary classmates too. See, mummy treasures her friendship alot.

Cousin Dyan's Birthday

Here's a closer look. Cute right?

Mummy & daddy happily posing while i sleep.

Daddy was kind enough to "share" his ballons. He tied one on my hand.

Here's mummy and her sisters with the 3 little piglets.

And here's another piglet, but a year 2008 one. His name is Brandon.

Happy birthday to all!!!

父子情深

叔叔 bought daddy, mummy & me a set of clothes from The Life Shop. It's really cute. Now i know i wont get lost in shopping mall coz everyone now knows who is my daddy.

It spells "儿" & "爸". Mummy said thumbs up for the t-shirt coz now daddy is being labelled "attached and unavailable" to anyone who is interested. Ha ha...

Shall take a picture together with mumy when she wears her "妈" top. Thank you 叔叔!

Papaya Purée

Mummy prepared papaya purée for me over one weekend. I like it alot! Hee hee...mummy said gotta wear matching bib.

See my cheeky face when i saw and smell the papaya coming.

See what happened to the poor papaya purée. Mummy was happily feeding me when i suddenly paused and gave out the "Urr urr" face. Mummy knew i wanted to do "big biz" and quickly placed the bowl of purée on the tray. The next thing she knew, i swept the bowl on the floor.

Look at the mess i created.

Just for record, here's the food that i've tasted so far:

Stage 1 Fruits:
1) Apple
2) Avocados
3) Papaya
4) Pear
5) Pumpkin

Stage 1 Veggies:
1) Sweet Potatoe
2) Carrots

K.O!

Mummy found lotsa benefit a high chair can offer. Firstly, it serves as a great temporary "parking place" to park me while everyone in the family have dinner. Secondly, i can nap on the high chair without having to cradle to sleep!

I was totally knocked out trying to stay awake for daddy & mummy to come home to play with me. And to think that daddy, mummy & 奶奶 abused my well-behaviour by chatting over a long dinner while i self entertained myself. I could stand no more. Zzzzz.....The three of them were rolling on the floor laughing when they saw this scene.

Daddy was more humane, he quickly came to my rescue by hugging me to sleep. Else, i would have sprained my neck with mummy & 奶奶 went on yacking.
