My 1st Birthday Celebration @ Hort Park

Celebrated my 1st birthday @ Hort Park this afternoon. I'm so glad that everything went well. The weather was good, food was good, cake was nice & yummy and most importantly my guests were all wonderful. I had a great time, all thanks to all the uncles, aunties, jie jie, kor kor, di di, mei mei and everyone:-) I felt like a S T A R tonight, with daddy's friends and colleagues all using the big big SLR cameras to shoot me. Countdown to My "RockStar" Birthday

I'll be celebrating my 1st birthday on 16/11/08 (Sunday). Hope all aunties, uncles, brothers and sisters who received mummy's email to RSVP asap so we can order the right amount of food.

Where's Mummy & Daddy?

Mummy & daddy are away for a 9 days 7 nights holiday in Melbourne (13th Oct 2008 - 21st Oct 2008). So am staying home with 奶奶, counting down to their returning....9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1..Hooray!!! Welcome home!!!

Xiao yi drove both 奶奶 & me to the airport to fetch mummy & daddy.

Cheeky Boy

I've recently mastered the "art" of making funny faces. Here's some of my "master piece" taken by daddy. (Mummy's camera is way too slow to capture anything nice, so she asked daddy to quickly grab his camera and S H O T! Now, daddy is asking mummy to go get a "decent" SLR camera.)

I'm 11 Months Old!

How time flies, i'm already 11 months old and soon will no longer be a "baby" anymore.

Well, here's a quick summary of my development at 11th month:

Weight: 10.5kg

• Says "mama" and "dada" to the correct parent
• Plays patty-cake and peek-a-boo
• Stands alone for a couple of seconds
• Cruises
• Understands "no" and simple instructions
• Puts objects into a container
• Says one word besides "mama" and "dada"
• Stoops from standing position
• Clap upon cue or when i hear "Happy birthday to you..." & "If you happy and you know it clap yr hand..."
• Raise up my hand when daddy & mummy tell me that we're crossing the road.
• Pull up my shirt when someone asks me where's my stomach.
• Pokes my finger into my ear to indicate temperature taking.
• Grooves and moves my body when ask to dance.
• Identifies: Fan, Ball, Ballon, CD Player, head, ear, Santa Claus, Lantern, Cat, Dog, Table Lamp, Jie Jie, Kor Kor, Juice Blender, etc.

Ha ha...counting down to the big O N E!!!

Baby's Day Out @ Hort Park

Mother and Baby Magazine organised a Baby's Day Out event at Hort Park on 05/10/08. We managed to meet up with some of my family members, cousin and a group of the SMH November mummies and babies. But the place was too crowded and we didn't manage to get everyone together during the event. There was a crawling competition, but too bad we were a little too late to sign up for it.

Right: Garreth & i. Notice i kept within the mat that Auntie Steph brought. Initially mummy thought i was so obedient and find it a bit weird. Then, she realised that i was uncomfy and didn't like the feel of the lawn. Hee...that gives her an idea where to place me for my next diaper change!


Left: Mummy thought the event was a good gathering coz the older folks got to meet up as well. Here's 三叔婆, 三叔婆 and 公公.
Right: At the end of the event, i was totally zonked. Daddy carried me to an air-conditioned room to feed and pat me to dreamland.


Eat & sleep, daddy took charge of me while mummy kept the folks company.


Daddy offered me the apply juice from Mac Donald's and mummy showed him the frown on her face. Oh ya, Ting Ting yi yi and the pretty Chloe jie jie was there too.

Bambini Play Date

Met up with 2 SMH November mummies and babies for a play date @ Bambini 04/10/08. Anutie Grace with Ashlyn and Auntie Shirley with Matthias. Good thing about the place is it's conveniently located near our place (2 bus stops away) and it's FREE PLAY for babies 1 year and below. BUT, coz the 3 of us were sill unable to crawl up the playground on our own, the mummies were the ones suffering. Mummy complained that her thigh aches the very next day. Ha ha...but i certainly had a great fun.
