Piggy Cousins

Er yi and xiao yi's family came over to our house for our weekly gathering last Saturday. Too bad, my 2 elder cousins were tied down with many tuitions and enrichment classes (Mindchamps)over the weekend and it seems like i'll have lesser and lesser chance to meet up with my Sheryl & Sherry jie jie le.

Xiao yi snapped a group of photos for the 3 little piglets and mummy thought some are quite cute and funny.

The elder and younger "piglet".

Notti me disturbing Renise mei mei. Opss...look again. The picture on the left is actually Dyan kor kor and not me!!! Gosh, no wonder so many people are saying Dyan kor kor and i look so alike, especially when we both wore blue T-shirt on that day. Even mummy mistaken Dyan kor kor as me in the photo on the left.

Never a chance to get any nice shot with 3 moving piglets.

Er yi and the piglets.

See, only the adults were looking at the camera.
Left: Eagan looking at Er yi and smile.
Right: Renise looking at San yi and smile.

Left: Renise said " Mummy, i think i feel something popping out on er yi's neck."
Right: Look! There is another big black mole on her neck. That makes it 2 "美人痣" on er yi's face and neck. So cute hor, hiak hiak hiak.....

After dinner, everyone came to our place. And all the 3 piglets squeezed into my playgym. Both Renise & Dyan love staying inside, not me.

Don't Forget The Lyrics!

Nope, i'm not going to write anything about the show "Don't Forget The Lyrics". It's just that as X'mas draws nearer, mummy realised that she has either forgotten or doesn't know the lyrics to some of the Christmas songs. Hee...yup she's been humming Christmas songs for the past years and never gotten down to knowing the lyrics for some of them. But with me, she has no choice but to find out the right words for each and every song.

So here you go, copy the lyrics and sing along if you are one of those who has been humming your way:-):

Jingle Bells
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
We got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh yeah

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

We Wish You a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin;
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here

We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Auld Lang Syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne!

Chorus.-For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth
Every body Pauses and stares at me
These two teeth are gone as you can see
I don't know just who to blame for this catastrophe!
But my one wish on Christmas Eve is as plain as it can be!

All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth!

Gee, if I could only
have my two front teeth,
then I could wish you
"Merry Christmas."
It seems so long since I could say,
"Sister Susie sitting on a thistle!"
Gosh oh gee, how happy I'd be,
if I could only whistle (thhhh, thhhh)

All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth.

Gee, if I could only
have my two front teeth,
then I could wish you
"Merry Christmas!"

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,
you'll go down in history!

White Christmas
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

X'Mas is Coming!

Daddy & mummy brought me to Orchard Rd last Saturday to see Christmas lightings after i recovered. Hee... it's my first time coz last year this time, mummy was still doing her confinement.

Daddy showing me a nice decorated X'mas tree in Isetan Scotts.

'A Sweet Christmas in Singapore’, that's the theme of the decoration this year. A landscape adorned with colourful gumdrops, candy cane street lamps, delectable cupcake houses and giant doughnuts. Hmm...so looking forward to my sweet x'mas!

Daddy bought a pack of apple juice for me from Mac Donald's. It's so nice and sweet, just like the candies along the street. I drank almost 3/4 pack and ended up coughing the very next day. Guess daddy will not buy me anymore apple juice le:(

Uncle Andy took care of me and Rayden kor kor while mummy & daddy have their dinner.

Self entertaining while my folks enjoy their dinner.

"Daddy, am i doing it right?"

Gee...奶奶taught me something new. That is to wink whenever i hear the word "Miss", "Pretty" or "小姐". Mua ha ha.....

After dinner, mummy went shopping for a dress for Renise mei mei while daddy accompanied me to play the slide outside the boutique. Daddy told mummy i was daring coz i slided down on my own. Mummy told daddy how daring he was to allow me to slide down on my own. Ha ha...got scolded!

(Okie, mummy has a little something to vent: We had dinner in "My Mum's Cuisine" restaurant in Paragon and perhaps it's the festive season and all the restaurants were packed to the brim. "My Mum's Cuisine" restaurant owner was so stuck up. We queued for a good 20 minutes and when we were the first in queue, the restaurant owner told us all guest need to be in before she allows us in. She said the other guests will have to be there within 5 minutes, else she will let others take the table.

It was my dinner time and mummy requested her to allow us in first while the rest rush over from the carpark. She refused. To make thing worst, the owner said we've to order dishes instead of those simple Wanton mee and char siew rice before she can allocate a big table for us. Mummy was carrying me and didn't have the chance to flip through the menu. Anyway, mummy had already decided on ordering dishes before she asked, but she just felt it'd not right for the owner to tell mummy this, afterall wanton mee and char siew rice are in her menu list. So, mummy simply replied "Ok, i think so". And guess what, the owner told her "You've to be really sure you know, else cannot". Then, the owner continued to allow people queueing behind us in and looked at mummy with a cunning smile and said "5 minutes, if your friends don't come, then i'm sorry".

*BOOM* Mummy was so agitated and she raised her voice. Only then, the owner obliged and allowed us in. Kaoz...afterall, the table was empty, and there were 2 other "Reserved" unoccupied tables throughout our 1.5 hr dinner. Why can't she be more service-oriented and allow us in????? ##@!%^@*)

Go Away BUG!

I fell sick for the 2nd time on Tuesday. Daddy felt i was a little warm and took my temperature. "Di..." the thermometer reads 37.4...38.4...and it hit as high as 39.4 in the middle of the night.

My folks also found 3 spots on my hand and they were worried it might be HFMD! So, they brought me to see the PD in KKH the very next day. Dr Yong from KKH was very nice and patient towards me though i wailed big time when she was "inspecting" me. Dr Yong said besides the few spots on my hand and the fever, it didn't look like HFMD, but still she asked mummy & daddy to monitor closely.

My fever went up and down like roller coaster. I slept alot and was restless throughout the entire day. Thanks GOD, i got well and was back to my usual self within 2 days.

奶奶, daddy & mummy brought me to KKH to see Doc. For once, mummy allowed me to bring along my "bao bao" with me.

Daddy trying to con me to take my medicine. 4.5ml of Paracetamol every 4-6 hours.

See my "Sai Nai" face. I sat like this 乖乖 the entire day.

Red and watery eyes, so 可怜 right? Go away, naughty bug!

Mummy said the only good thing about me getting sick is having my double eye lids. So bad hor.

Happy Birthday to Mummy

It was mummy's xx birthday last Sunday. We celebrated it in advance with 公公 last Saturday at 公公's place.

My family photo with the cake from Awfully Chocolate. Daddy is so sweet, he secretly bought the cake and hid it in the fridge after his in camp training on Saturday afternoon. He actually planned to bring out the cake when the clock strikes 12 that night. But since we're heading to 公公's place, he had to change his plan. Still, mummy appreciates it:-)

This was mummy's BIG "birthday present" 8 years ago. Sherry jie jie decided to pop on mummy & xiao yi's birthday, making 3 of us sharing the same birth date. Too bad, xiao yi couldn't make it to join us for the celebration coz both Rayden kor kor and Renise mei mei were not feeling well.

My 妈妈 & 爸爸.

Birthday girls (ahem...mummy is 公公's girl, so allow her to consider herself girl for once, k) & 公公.

The Wee sisters & mummy.

Me & mummy.

Nov Babies Birthday Bash cum X'mas Party

Hoo hoo hoo...the much awaited gathering of the year took place last Saturday (29/11/08)at Auntie Josephine's place. It was the largest gathering for the November babies. Too bad daddy had to report back to camp, so it was only me and mummy. Nevertheless, i behaved myself that day. I took a quick nap in the car on our way to Auntie Josephine's place and dozed off really quickly on our way back home. This is how much i enjoyed myself. Let the pictures do the talking:

Mummy dressed me in green in conjunction with the X'Mas celebration.

Our little host of the day - Claire. I must say thank you to Claire for graciously sharing her toys with us.

Introducing "Lil Miss Hazel". Mummy thought it's a wise choice to wear something that spells out her name and most importantly, it matches the theme. Oh ya, wanna say "Thank you" to Hazel's mummy who prepared the goodie bag for each and everyone of us.

Ashlyn in her reindeer headband. Hmmm...unlike me, Ashlyn could resist herself from removing the headband. Ashlyn was dressed 100% to the theme, from her top, tutu skirt and reindeer headband. Nice!

Another walking baby (toddler). This is Zee Yann. Auntie Kat said ZY sang few words of the birthay song after the party. That's very advance,
well done girl!

The wide-eyed girl - Hayley. Auntie Cecelia, Uncle Andrew and bibik Warti were there early to prepare us the sedap Chicken Rendang. Besides Claire's daddy, Uncle Andrew was another photographer of the day to busily snap snap snap snap pictures of us on that day.

Awww.....This is.....Snow White - Mischa. She has a very talented mummy. Besides making bow bow, tutu, tag hankies, customised clock, organising spree, designing, drafting, etc she can also make Y U M M Y birthday cake & macaroons!!! The birthday cake and macaroons were from her. Hmm..such a talented mummy, must be not easy to "deal with". Mummy is keen to hook me up with Mischa but Auntie Sally thought age is a problem. She minds me being 2 weeks younger than Mischa and started talking about the amount of deposit to book her girl. So difficult ah....Kee keee...

The piglet cake. Made with love, by Auntie Sally.

The boy & girl oink oink to signify the Nov baby boys and Nov baby girls:)

Mouth-watering macaroons. By Auntie Sally.

Little shoez for the little ones. Cute right?

And these are what i got from the party gift exchange (A pair of "Bee" rattles from Ashlyn's mummy) and party goodie bag prepared by Hazel's mummy.

As there was so many DSLR cameras around and mummy was alone with me. She didn't manage to take picture of all the toddlers in the house. Shall upload more photos once mummy receives them:)
