Malacca Trip - Part I

I finally had the chance to get outta Singapore for the very first time 3 weekends ago. Xiao yi's family, 公公 and us self-drove to Malacca for a day trip. Mummy and the rest were certainly very thankful that i behaved really well on that day. I kept quiet and enjoyed the "scenary" (though nothing much to see except cars and trees) on our about 3 hours journey there, had fun in the afternoon till i skipped my afternoon nap totally, and knocked out throughout the entire journey back home at night!

Now, let's run through the photos.

World Heritage City. Gotta take pictures here just to let everyone know i step foot in Melaka.

公公 & the two bibiks were with us as well.

Lunch at the authentic Nonya restuarant.

Playing and fooling around with daddy while waiting for the food to be served.

Left: Xiao yi & family (minus Renise).
Right: Group photo

Left: 公公 must have been the happiest coz he has always wanted to go Malacca. The trip was for you 公公, in case you still don't know:).
Right: Daddy feeding me. Hmm...the taste of 娘惹菜.

Left: 奶奶. Hmm...she always looks so fierce and serious in front of the camera. Relax a bit, 奶奶.
Right: Daddy posing with his 2nd "wife". Vain!

The very yummy Chendol. Fantastic taste! Don't believe me? Look at Uncle Andy's expression. Slurp!!!

We did lotsa waking and photo-taking after our lunch. See, daddy was trying hard to balance his duty and hobby at the same time.

Photos taken in one of the hotel.

Left: Nice hotel lobby.
Right: Hmmm...look who's crawling? Hee...guess i was looking for something. Beaded shoes or the nonya girl perhaps:p

Check out the streets. You can hardly find such in Singapore. Except for Chinatown during the CNY. Then again, the feel is totally different.

Wow, i didn't know the Malaccans have got big foot!

Uncle selling the "Ding Ding" sweet.

Left: My cowboy dad.
Right: Hmmm....a caucasian gentleman. Actually mummy wanted to take a photo of the pub, but who knows this uncle stepped out and posed for mummy instead. Heee...

Strolling down the street with daddy.

I had so much fun with Rayden kor kor during the trip. Kept calling "Lay Dennn" for the next few days after the day trip.

All and all, it was a really good trip. We're planning to go back again. But this time round, we'll stay over for at least one night.

Malacca Trip - Part II

Daddy took some really nice photos during the trip. Just in case you guys don't have access to view mummy/daddy's facebook photos, here's a special series just for you...

Hi Again!

Hi folks, many of you have been calling/texting to ask for updates on my blog. Yes, it's been the longest time since i last updated my blog. I ended my last entry with "I Can Walk!" and naturally one can expect what happened next. You're right! Mummy & daddy had been chasing me around the house for the past few weeks, they simply had no time to pen anything down!

Anyways, before the month of February ends, i thought i should seriously sit down and update you folks something.....

It was daddy's birthday yesterday.

We had breakfast at Mac Donald's.

And this was my birthday cake for daddy. I call it a MacCake - Mac Donald's Birthday Cake. Kee kee....

Make a wish and ah hooo....."What did u wish for daddy?"

Daddy is one lucky guy. Gong gong and the rest came over to throw daddy a "surprise" party for him last weekend.

Sharing my toys with cousins.

And having dinner at the "Kids' Corner" with cousins.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
