The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Together with Xiao yi and Rayden kor kor, mummy and i went to see the wolf. Oppss...i mean "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" play on 01/08/09 since daddy was away for business trip on that weekend. A day prior going to the play, Xiao yi bought me a story book on the same title so that i can be familiarized with the characters that i'll be seeing. And it did help coz i seemed to be able to relate the shepard boy, the big bad wolf, sheep, crying for help scene, etc. I enjoyed the close to an hour play and asked mummy to tell me the story over and over again when we got home. To think i'm someone who's never able to sit through to complete a book kinda person, the play and story book did help in catching and lengthening my attention span.

Note: There's some fighting between the boy and the wolf scene that was a little too much and "scary" for some of the kiddos. Some cried and some shouted "No".

Synopsis
Little Petey is bored, bored, bored. It is really not much fun to sit on a little rock, on a little hill, watching a little flock of sheep all day long. So little Petey decides to hatch the perfect plan to have some fun and scare the socks off his fellow villagers. But little does poor Petey know that a very tiny lie can lead to a whole lot of trouble...

The Boy Who Cried Wolf is a wonderful new production from The Little Company. Based on the classic fairy tale by Aesop, you will be delighted by how it is brought to life by an exciting script and a professional cast of actors.

This play is a heart-warming illustration of why it’s important to tell the truth, and how one lie can make a world of difference.
